🔒 THE ENTITY DECISION — JR-locked, and it unblocked two venues at once.
Every UK tour agreement is now made to SCJ Entertainment Ltd, 37 Bury Crescent, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 3TZ, company no. 06734322 — "arranged by John Robson, Big Laugh Boutique." JR signs on Sean's behalf, admin-wise, and will send Sean an email setting out all terms.
⚠️ Albert has since corrected the wording: "arranged by" describes a role, it does not state legal authority. Use this instead, on every UK date: "This acceptance is given for and on behalf of SCJ Entertainment Ltd by John Robson of Big Laugh Boutique, its duly authorised agent."
Why it matters: BLB Ltd dissolved Feb 2026, so "Big Laugh Boutique" and "John Robson" are the same legal person with no corporate veil. Naming SCJ keeps the ticket contract, the VAT, refunds and the 48-hour cancellation liability inside a company rather than on JR personally.
⚖️ THE STAND — Albert has reviewed the agreement. Verdict: ordinary, market-standard, safe to agree. Low–Medium, nothing High or Critical, no external counsel needed. Three things he found:
1. The real venue take is 33%, not 30% — the 3% commission and the 30% facility fee stack, and their invoice will likely add VAT on top which SCJ cannot reclaim. Possibly 39.6% all-in. One question settles it.
2. The 48-hour cancellation is uncapped "at the discretion of the venue" — but realistic worst case is £900–£1,800 across all three shows, not an open hole. One sentence closes it.
3. Their Show Confirmation has no signature block at all — it is accepted by email. So the acceptance email IS the execution.

📮 EIGHT MAILS OUT TONIGHT, all verified single in Sent (4211–4218). Komedia — on-sale form returned in full after five days · Comedy Hall Tiverton — terms accepted, contract requested · Creatures — asked whether a straight 60 with no interval works in their fixed slot · Glee — chased, with the timing block · Neptune Halifax — chased to both addresses · GRUB — declined warmly for this run, kept live for the next · Vulcan County and Solé Farr — both played as route-builders, no fee quoted.
🎪 TIVERTON — terms are in, and the venue is bigger than we had on file.
Steve Lodge confirms Fri 12 Feb, 70/30 in our favour, £18 ticket, and offered a contract the same day.
The room is 311 seats, not ~300 — plus a 200-seat black box we did not know existed.
At £18 × 70% that is £3,918 at capacity, about £2,350 at 60% full.
⭐ And the bigger prize is not Tiverton. He is building monthly "top end" club nights through 2027, last Sunday of the month, across both rooms, and floated up to £5k a night for a headliner he knows will sell out. We have asked whether he wants us to source the acts — including headliners from outside our own roster. That is a recurring booking relationship for the whole BLB roster, not a Sean date.
📋 THE PAPERWORK POSITION — checked on disk, not from notes.
One document exists for the entire twelve-date run: The Stand's show-confirmation .docx.
⚠️ Trinity IoW — Dinah Bowman sent the hiring forms on 31 July. They were never saved down and never returned. Sat 23 Jan is a LOCKED date with no paperwork in hand. This is the first thing to move.
⚠️ Creatures — their ticketing form has been outstanding since 28 July, longer than Komedia's. Blocked on the interval question, now asked.
⏳ Inbound: Tiverton contract, The Stand agreement. ❌ Nothing at all for Totnes, Cardiff WMC, Top Secret, Southampton Attic.
💷 PRICES + ON-SALE. £20 full / £16 concession is the out-of-London standard across every room including all three Stand dates (JR, 29 Jul). London £25/£20. Tiverton is Steve's own £18. On sale: within a fortnight, every date announced together through Sean's socials — so one date governs the whole run. Deliberately not named to any venue yet; The Stand have been invited to state a preference, being the biggest rooms, and everyone else routes around them.
Everything we hold on one calendar. Solid chips = a room actually offered/held; dashed = context or a gap. Early January is dimmed (Xmas'd out — weight the run late-Jan → Feb). This is the internal working view; the client-facing tour view lives on Sean's hub.
